It has been a banner day for managerial ejections. Joe Maddon got tossed for (correctly) arguing a checked-swing call. Ron Gardenhire was run for arguing balls and strikes, after another apparent strikeout was missed. Could the NLDS deliver the hat trick in the nightcap? It’s unlikely, but if anyone can do it, it’s the all-time ejection champ, Bobby Cox.
