The Cardinals scored four runs in the bottom of the first to take a commanding lead over Milwaukee, but more notably, Nick Punto received an intentional walk, for what is likely the first time ever. Way to go, Nicky!
Punto attempted to bunt the first wide offering, out of force of habit, but eventually relaxed and took his free base, at which point he hustled scrappily down to first, somehow getting his pants dirty in the process.
