So, Rick Cho helps Michael Jordan dump Gerald Wallace’s salary, and in return, Jordan hands him the GM job? Actually, since Paul Allen is still paying Cho the balance of his salary, it’s another cash-saving move from Jordan. Cho might be excited to use the first-round pick he traded to Charlotte to get Wallace, but let’s be realistic: Jordan is going to sell that pick, probably to cover a gambling debt.
I like this move. Rich was pretty quiet in his one year as GM, but with injuries and Roy drama and apparent front office collapse, I think his hands were a LITTLE tied.

Once again, Kobe’s just trying to emulate Michael Jordan.
