Dear Basketball Gods,
Please do not let the Los Angeles Clippers get the first pick in the draft this year or any real high draft pick. Basically, the Clippers should not be allowed to draft John Wall. Granted, the Clipper organization did nothing that led to Blake Griffin’s epic, major bummer party of a season injury, but their owner Donald Sterling is a bigger dick than Mike “The Situation” from “Jersey Shore” and has cursed his franchise. I do believe the great zen master of the hardwood, Phil Jackson said something about karma and Sterling in relation to Griffin’s injury. So, I ask you guys on the behalf of all hoops blogs bros out there, let John Wall find a good home to develop his pro game and become a star.

As much as I want to watch Wall for years, for the good of the league, he shouldn’t go to Golden State either. But what are the good options? Not Minnesota, a team that’s already wasting two premium young points. Not the wasteland of New Jersey/Brooklyn, building their team around Brook Lopez and a pipe dream of LeBron James. Not the Wizards, headed for desperate, uphill rebuilding. Not Detroit, where Joe Dumars hasn’t made a good roster decision since trading for Rasheed Wallace. The Jazz already have Deron Williams, the Hornets have Chris Paul, the Bucks have Brandon Jennings, the Pacers only want white players.
So by default, for the good of the NBA and all that is right in basketball, the Kings have to win the draft lottery this year. Mr. Stern, dog-ear that envelope!
