Giants fans may have breathed a collective sigh of relief in getting past Cards postseason ace Chris Carpenter, but there’s still plenty to worry about. For one, Carp is scheduled to start again at AT&T Park in Game 6 (if necessary). For another, he’s still available to pinch-hit in any of the games. With three hits in his last four at-bats, including a double and single, Carpenter might be the most dangerous bat on either bench right now, and certainly the most dangerous Carpenter.
