With his leadoff home run to open the American League Division Series, Covelli “Coco” Crisp has vaulted himself past Ice-T’s wife to become to fifth greatest Coco of all time, behind Coco Chanel, Conan O’Brien, Koko the sign-language gorilla, and his namesake, Cocoa Krispies. The A’s trail Justin Verlander and the Tigers, 2-1, but Crisp has done his part to keep the A’s in it before the series moves to one of the worst of all the time - the O.Co Coliseum.
