Vernon Davis is a good bet to return to the Pro Bowl, but he will not be invited to a slam dunk contest anytime soon. The goalpost REJECTED his celebratory dunk attempt, which serves him right. After all, the goalposts were amazingly kind to David Akers’ record-tying 63-yard field goal in the first half - it’s kind of a dick move to dunk on them after that.
